Pass the Gravy

Most of the leaves have dropped after a glorious fall in Teton Valley. There’s a dusting of snow above 8000’ and the smell of winter in the air. The locals are busily buttoning down the hatches, raking leaves, hunting (with hopes of filling freezers) and putting away lawn furniture. Here on Birch Road, we are planting next year’s garlic and putting the garden to bed. I am also deep into putting a small addition on to my studio (the Henhouse), so as to provide an additional isolation room and more storage space. This will allow for for more flexibility when recording larger groups and will be put to use in fairly short order with some exciting projects coming up: Natalie Padilla, the One Ton Pig, and two recordings of my own (one w/ Eli West). Pass the gravy.
